PRO Unlimited to Kick Off Special Guest Speaker Series with Yassmin Abdel-Magied


PRO Unlimited has launched a quarterly event series for its employees featuring esteemed guest speakers from a variety of industries. The special series will kick off on September 17th, with Yassmin Abdel-Magied shining a spotlight on Diversity and Inclusion.

As one of the 2020 LinkedIn Changemakers, Abdel-Magied is a Sudanese-Australian writer who is well known for her popular Ted Talk, “What does my headscarf mean to you.” She’s an award-winning social advocate, author and renowned unconscious bias and leadership speaker with a focus on race and gender.

Abdel-Magied has been featured in publications such as TIME magazine, The Guardian and HuffPost, and her critically acclaimed essays have also been published widely. On TV, Abdel-Magied was the host for the groundbreaking documentary “The Truth About Racism,” and appears as a regular news and current affairs commentator on the BBC, Al Jazeera and Monocle 24, as well as on various radio programs and podcasts. In all her work, Yassmin is an advocate for transformative justice and a fairer, safer world for all.
