PRO Unlimited’s New UNITES Diversity Council to Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Transformation in the Contingent Workforce Industry

Today, we announced a new initiative of our comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion solution (DEI), PRO Unites. Our new UNITES Diversity Council connects leading organizations, including diverse suppliers, nonprofits and diversity all-stars, to drive DEI in the contingent workforce industry

With the UNITES Diversity Council, we can build on our purely vendor-neutral platform, our membership with Stanford’s VMware Women’s Leadership Innovation Lab, and our phenomenal partnerships with suppliers to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships that impact and elevate DEI. The UNITES Diversity Council members have demonstrated their commitment to making a difference for our clients and individuals in the contingent workforce ecosystem. These change agents include:

  • - Diverse Suppliers: Organizations within our client portfolio with demonstrated excellence and commitment to DEI.
  • - Nonprofits: Nonprofit networks focused on developing and deploying diverse workers.
  • - Diversity All-Stars: Non-diverse suppliers that have demonstrated a commitment to progressing diversity and inclusion at our clients.

Here is what our CEO, Kevin Akeroyd had to say about the Council:

“In order to take significant action and reach our shared DEI goals, we need to partner with other organizations to collectively remove barriers to diversity and support a culture of inclusion. Our UNITES Diversity Council brings together different, but like-minded, leaders to collaborate on this critical business imperative.”

This council will pool their knowledge and expertise on new exciting projects that will make a difference for clients and individuals in the contingent workforce ecosystem. The combined knowledge of this council will help guide the industry forward and pave the way for more to follow. Key figures of the UNITES Diversity Councill include:

Russel Tobin, HireTalent, WBW/Akraya, eTeam, The Fountain Group, Mindlance, Aquent, Lancesoft, Spectraforce, TalentBurst, and The Mom Project

And here is what Rebecca Perrault, our head of DEI had to say about the Council:

“We are committed to making real change, both with our clients and the contingent workforce industry. Gathering the most committed organizations together to deepen our collective insights and develop solutions is one way we can make a tangible difference. I am excited for the work we will accomplish together.”
